Big Apple Blues

Anthony Kane

Anthony Kane has been singing and playing blues in the greater NYC metropolitan area since age 15. As a teenager, he fronted Kane Brothers Blues band in Woodstock, NY. He spent several years in Chicago continuing to hone his skills playing with some of Chicago’s finest blues musicians, including Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, and others. After leaving Chicago, Anthony fronted his own bands at top clubs all over the Northeast as a vocalist, harmonica, and slide player extraordinaire. The legendary harmonica man, James Cotton himself, said that Anthony was: “One of the Best! ‘Nuff’ said!”
